Today close shop lah.

I busy go chase for news on Kampung Buah Pala. I am going from Kampung Buah Pala to Petani Road police station to Komtar.

Got sms that says the people of Kampung Buah Pala are going on hunger strike. I am not sure if they are going to do it at Komtar or where.

So, wa boh eng chap siao all you readers.

Go play far far.

It is the first day of September. Pay day. Woohoo!

(Wait, I must clarify. Payday from my ah kongs at the US of A, not for my CJ works. Just in case people think I get paid for smelling gusai.)

Above is a video I made after my loukong got pissed because the petrol station closed their door on him. The man drove me home to bring my video camera. By the time we got back, they have re-opened. I guess they closed to calibrate their RON 92 to 95 and 95 to 97. I asked my loukong, will we even know if we are using 92 (which is no longer available) or 97? He said the colour is different. But how to know if we sumbat the pump into the petrol tank, right?

The Star reported Koh Tsu Koon said this,

“This is unfair, and if he (LGE) wants, we can answer all his allegations. We had found solutions to the problems faced by the villagers but it was the Opposition that then tried to create problems,” he added when opening the Penang Gerakan’s annual delegates conference yesterday.

I know many people don’t care about Kampung Buah Pala anymore. But I do. I do because by tomorrow, if no one intervenes, the bulldozers will come again. Women, children and old folks will once again have to be immobilised to be human barricades.

But here we have one ex-leader who was responsible for selling the land talking without offering any solution for them. If Koh Tsu Koon is genuinely concerns for these villagers, he would have intervened from day one and not wait until the eleventh hour to talk cock.

Koh Tsu Koon said they had found the solutions to the problems faced by the villagers. Is this the solution he was talking about?

22 March 2007: The cooperative released a compensation offer to Kampung Buah Pala residents, offering each family a 850 sq ft house worth RM75,000, relocation payment of RM1,000 and rental subsidy of RM750 per month for a period of 36 months until the houses were constructed. For residents who were were not interested in the offer, the cooperative offered one-off payments of RM90,000 per family.

Well, according to M. Sugumaran the resident association chairman, the bulldozers wanted to demolish the houses but Karpal Singh (was in then in the opposition) was there to stop the demolition because the 23 villagers felt the compensation of a flat is unfair. I verified this by asking Karpal Singh if he really did go to the village to stop demolition and he confirmed he did.

The villagers then went to Legal Aid Centre and engaged Cecil Rajendra. They went to the High Court and won their cases. But unfortunately, they lost their case at the Appeal Court and then, again lost their case in the Federal Court.

It is disgusting for a man in Koh Tsu Koon calibre to keep quiet until now and want to stir shits at the last hour. You are after all our chief minister for so many years (19?) and yet, where were you when you are supposed to be the opposition and fight? Did you stay around to fight for the villagers’ rights against Lim Guan Eng’s government? No, you didn’t. You crawled out quietly, left the island, went through the back door and never show your face here to do real justice.

Your men are only good at picking petty issues like how much Lim Guan Eng’s rented house costs. Remember that if Gerakan is a political party that deserves respect, Gerakan should have fought for justice, democracy, our Penangite rights and more. Not picking petty issues, darn it!

Koh Tsu Koon, take this from me, a voter and a Penangite. You failed as the ruling government and you fail as an opposition. KPI = 0.

That’s the song the kids march to. They have good spirits though. It rained and there were puddles of water all over. But they obediently listened to their teachers and did some last minute practice in the rain.

But God is kind, the sky clears up just when they were about to start the welcoming song.

I woke up at 7 am, was there PISA at the Penang First (Assembly of God) Mega Foodfair by 8 am. Came back around 11 plus and dropped dead till now. Oops, too late to go for my CJ refresher course already.

I totally forgot about the Merdeka mass today! How could I! I even painted my blog red, blue and yellow but I forgot to praise God and pray to Him.

Can I blame it on the rain, Father? It rained and rained and my mood went the same way like the sky. Dark, gloomy, on the verge of bursting it’s brim and sad.

    DSCF2147

This is the monsoon drain circling my apartment grounds. The water was about to overflow.

    ScreenShot005

This is the Google map of my area. The tiny blue thing is the swimming pool in my apartment. The green line dashing across in the middle is the monsoon drain. Thank God the tide was low so we didn’t experience much flooding. If it had flooded, I told myself I am going to get all the residents here to take a fish head and bring it to the exco in charge of pengairan dan sungai and tell him the fish head is the fish we caught in our flooded homes and cars. And of course, our ADun too.

Anyway, I am pretty pissed and disillusioned with the manner which some people treated a place of worship. It is appalling that people can show so much disgust for people different from them. I hope all my blog readers will at least be awakened a little bit and stand up and open your eyes and know that the world we live in, depends on us. Don’t just bitch about you getting caught in traffic jams or dirty toilets or other public inconveniences when you are doing nothing to change the people who governed us. Go on, make life difficult for them and demand change so that we get something better like what we deserve.

    earrings

I am taking a break after spewing out 1,350 words in something. So, I got hold of my earrings which I used to scatter around my computers desks (note the plural) and take some photos.

    earrings

I have over 100 pairs, I think. I dare not count them anymore because I feel guilty. But, I keep buying because I am a good mother. Son says, “MOMMY! LOOK! Gingee! BUY!!!!” So, I buy. Then, when we went to Hatyai, they said, “MOMMY!!!!! Look, ice-cream! Cake! Lollipop! BUY!!!” So, I buy again.

    DSCF2154

I know my Mac keyboard is very dirty and dusty but who cares..As long as it works. This pair of gingerbread man earring looks ugly on my ears but sometimes, to please my little boy, I endure wearing it.

    donut earrings

Actually, I am a woman. And I don’t need reasons to buy earrings or shoes or anything. Or do I? I have four different topics on this post and I hope no one comes along and pour a bucket of cold water with some inane comments. I am in a bad mood, so try me.

Entah ke mana pergi semangat patriotisma saya? (KNN, how to spell patriotism)

Pagi ni, saya baru terfikir nak mulakan belog cerita lucah.

Tapi penguasaan bahasa saya tak luas.

Bila dah habis tulis cerita, ia macam kandang MacDonald.

Ada anak kucing, ayam jantan, tembikai dan lain lain lagi.

Jadi, sorry lah, Malaysia tersayang ku, kami dah hilang sedikit semangat kami.

    Where did we go wrong?

You know…I am quite an expert in giving birth. Of course lah, I had five babies before mah, right?

So, today, 28th August 2009, I am celebrating my 17 years of my heroic act. There is a sadistic streak in me, I think. I am the kind who must do something at least once in my life time.

When I had my first son, he has to be delivered by caesarean birth because I was a virgin my birth canal wasn’t quite ready and he was too big, at 4.1kg. I tell you, 4.1 kg is no joke one. He was the biggest baby in the nursery then.

Come the second pregnancy, I watched my diet a lot to avoid getting another big baby. Now, my #2 son knows about this, he is going to curse me for starving him when he was in my belly.

You see, I want to have a baby like how nature intended it to be. Lord Buddha was born by vaginal birth. Lord Jesus Christ was born by vaginal birth. How I know that? Because Caesar came later mah…chey…like that also need to ask meh? But wait, Caesar was around when Jesus was adult already. (recalling Give to Caesar what….). Oh ok, the Christmas story said so that Mary gave birth to Jesus in a manger.

Moreover, what kind of woman who doesn’t want to experiment how a tiny errrm…ci….errmm…va….errm…tunnel can allow a huge baby to pass through? Aren’t you curious? It is like a 8-wheeler petrol tank trying to squeeze through your lorong pejalan kaki. Imagine a watermelon dropping out of your mouth? That’s about the right proportion, no?

So, the heroic me insisted to have my second baby by VBAC which means vaginal birth after caesarean. A lot of doctors are too lazy to perform this because the mother needs close monitoring. There are risks involved because the scar of the previous c-sec may tear. (that’s what docs told me lah) Then, a lot of women wouldn’t want to take the risks and also too lazy to get their cibai torn lah! Anyway, there is no such thing as a tear nowadays because the ob-gyn will snip snip and then, sew sew back. Some cheeky ob-gyn will even assured the mothers that they will make ‘it’ tighter. LOL. Like tampal lubang like that.

I had a tough time delivering the son but at least I lived to boast that I know it all. Koyak sana, koyak sini, semua pun sakit. Cuma yang berlainan, nak sakit bawah atau sakit atas sikit (c-sec scar).

Given a choice, I would want to deliver all babies naturally. My third son was delivered normally eventhough he was 4.1kg again! BTW, #2 son who was born VBAC was 3.65 kg.

But sadly, my fourth delivery was an emergency premature birth due to placenta praevia so it had to be c-sec. Therefore, come to my Matthew, the doctor doesn’t allow me another VBAC (he was born 36 weekers @ 3.85).

So yeah, if you need to choose, choose vaginal birth. It is fun to torture the husband. I pinched mine blue black on the arms. I scolded my doctors. I kicked the nurses. (more like reflex) Tell me lah, how often you get to misbehave like that without being slapped?

Anyway, this is just to say that today is my #2 son’s 17th birthday.
